We polished the boat in hopes of going out for a spin on the lake, but it just did not work out. We had fun visiting and playing with the girls. They got to go the park and try out the swings.

Thanks to Aunt Brenda we got to go out on a date. Aunt Brenda has been at the house for a week cooking more food than we can eat and cleaning everything twice. Then, she goes outside and works on our yard too. She is great! She even offered to watch Luke while we went out on a date. We went to Bess Bistro downtown and it was amazing. The food was all delicious. We highly recommend this place AND Brenda as a live in Nanny / Chef / Gardener.

I think he likes the real thing better.

Max called and invited Luke to his birthday party, so the party animal went to his second party in 2 days. He slept through most of this one too. He did wake up in time to see Max in his birthday hat.

When the Lee's throw a house warming, it is no joke. They hire a big name band that you normally pay to see downtown and set them up on a flat bed trailer. They invite all the neighbors and tell them to bring ponies. Then they roll out a couple kegs of beer and cook enough brisket and sausage to feed an army. They top it off with a fire pit big enough to fit a foreign car in and fill it full of timber so it burns for days. It was yet another great Lee party ,and Luke even went. He slept through most of it, so the music must have been pretty good.

Nichole, Doug and Hannah came to meet Luke. Hannah is an expert at holding babies. She made Luke feel nice and secure.

Grandma Parma stayed with us for a week and cooked and cleaned everything. It definitely helped out ,and we were glad she was here. Grandpa came and picked her up today and took some pictures with Luke and Nuce.

We took Luke to his first Doctor visit. This guy only lost 2oz from birth till now. He is supposed to lose 10% of his weight. That would have been about 10-12 oz. Mommy is taking good care of Luke and making sure he is getting fed right.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day with Luke and members of both sides of the family. Grandma Parma cooked a great lunch and we all feasted till we were stuffed as per usual. Luke will enjoy pork chops, pork ribs, potato salad, corn etc.. later, after mommy turns it into milk. Hope he likes it. Check out the picture of Gran Gran's unique style for holding a baby. Luke was sound asleep. I guess he might be part bat.

We brought Luke home a little after lunch on Saturday. He slept the whole car ride. It was nice to get back home.

This "little" door hanger was made by Cindy's friend, Shannon. This thing is off the charts. No blue ribbon bow that says "It's a Boy" for the Brown's. She had to buy an industrial strength hanger to hold this bad boy on the door. Our little family made it through the first night here at the hospital. Luke did well. He eats like a champ and sleeps like a contender. Mommy is feeling pretty spunky and is expecting lots of visitors from her floor here in the hospital. I uploaded the pictures we took of Luke and everyone that visited, so check them out.

Mom and Baby are doing great. Luke was a little sideways coming out. Maybe he was practicing a 360 on the wakeboard when mommy pushed and got caught mid spin. Since he was sideways mommy pushed for 2 hours before the doc decided to get out the vacuum and give him a little assistance. So, with mommy pushing and doctor Kish pulling Luke came into this world. He is going to be a hat man for a while. Everyone is doing great and Luke is eating some dinner right now.

Baby Brown has decided to make his / her entrance! We are still waiting though, and as you can see Mommy got an epidural and is out like a light. She started having contractions at midnight and we timed them for an hour and they averaged 5 minutes between them. So, we put Nuce in the pen, gave him some extra food and said "see you soon, puppy". We got to the hospital at 2 and Cindy was 90% and 3 cm when they checked her at 2:30. By 3:30 Cindy was having some pretty good contractions with lots of pain, so she got a little Stadol. We both took a nap then. By 5:30 she was feeling them again and she got another shot of Stadol. She was dilated to 4cm at this time and still 90%. We slept some more. Her contractions slowed way down, so we thought they might send us home. At 7:45, her OB doc came in and checked and Cindy was 5cm and 100%. This is when they said that we were not going home, and Cindy said give me an epidural. She got the epidural at 8:15 and her doc broke her water at 8:45. Cindy was 6cm and the baby was at 0 station! Contractions have slowed a bit and it is 9:30 and they gave her a little Pitocin to help them along. Baby Brown should be here this afternoon!
